Balance

No matter the topic, the notion of balance comes up all the time. People believe my life is balanced and want to know how I do it.

Well, the one thing I can tell you is don’t believe everything you see, the closer you think you get to it, the further it moves away.

If I can offer you one piece of advice: stop aiming for it and you’ll find balance.

Our March workshop on Sunday the 26th is all about the Root Chakra (Muladhara) – This chakra is the first chakra. Its energy is based on the earth element. It’s associated with the feeling of safety and grounding. It’s at the base of the chakra system and lays the foundation for expansion in your life.

The root Chakra is one of the most crucial Chakras in our body and it is responsible for a number of things, including stress management and emotional balance. When it is out of balance, we can experience a wide range of issues – from stress to anxiety to even depression.

The root chakra is responsible for your sense of safety and security on this earthly journey. The word Muladhara breaks down into two Sanskrit words: Mula meaning “root” and Adhara, which means “support” or “base.”

So it all comes down to whatever grounds you to stability in your life. When all is going well in your root chakra, you feel grounded, balanced and stable, and you have a sense of security and confidence. But when your root chakra is imbalanced, you feel ungrounded, anxious and disconnected.

Why not join our workshop to start with your most important chakra to balance.

Balance for me is bringing things into harmony. It’s not something that you can get, but something that you continually do. Life is a game in which you are continually juggling many balls in the air.

Albert Einstein said, “Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.”

Leading a well-balanced life requires you to let go of control – learning to let go is not as difficult as you might think, but it does take some courage and determination. But what does letting go really mean? To understand this, we need to understand why we get attached to things in the first place.

I’ve spent a great deal practicing non-attachment on my journey so far. It gets easier as you go – believe me.

Meditation and yoga is a good place to start, why not drop in for a class?

Alternatively you can also start your journey of balance by seeing our resident life coach Anja for a session, or do some Reiki with Barry.

As you learn to let go, your self-esteem and self-confidence will grow. When you realize that you won’t die from letting go of things you thought you needed, you will be able to pursue things that are healthier for you and in turn feel more balanced.

Our two March promotions are also well balanced and priced so you don’t have to stress about taking out a loan to visit us for some self-care.

Do you feel like you’re ready to make some changes in your life?

Become more grateful, say “no” when you mean it, commit to others that you love, and engage in self-care.

Achieving a balanced life will lead to you feeling happier, and what’s more important than that?

Love, Tania
